Led by our Chief Technology Officer, the HMD R&D team spans electrochemistry, biosensors, firmware, and clinical validation, and has accumulated over 40 international patents. The team continuously refines enzyme formulations, measurement algorithms, and process yield, driving ongoing improvements in the accuracy, testing time, and blood sample size of the GlucoLeader series.
Chief Technology Officer
Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, specializing in biosensors and electrochemical measurement. Former researcher at ITRI Biomedical. Led the development of HMD's third-generation electrochemical test strips and over 40 international patents.
R&D Manager, Biochemistry
Ph.D. in Biochemical Technology, responsible for enzyme formulation and test strip chemistry. Specializes in glucose oxidase stability, extending strip shelf life to 24 months.
R&D Manager, Firmware & Algorithms
M.S. in Computer Science, leading meter firmware and measurement algorithm development. Introduced temperature and hematocrit compensation to meet ISO 15197:2013 accuracy requirements.
Head of Clinical Affairs & Regulatory
Background in medical laboratory science, responsible for clinical validation and global regulatory submissions. Led the successful attainment of CE, FDA 510(k), and MDSAP certifications.
