As a leading blood glucose monitoring company, HMD Biomedical has obtained over 40 international patents since 2000.
30 years ago, our founder Dr. Hsu witnessed a family member suffer diabetic foot amputation, deeply feeling the lack of convenient and accurate home blood glucose monitoring. This led him to dedicate himself to portable blood glucose monitoring technology.
After gaining extensive experience as a project leader at ITRI, Dr. Hsu founded HMD Biomedical in Taiwan and launched the "GlucoLeader" brand products, subsequently obtaining numerous patents.
